Ellie's Electronics Introduction

Hi! This is my page all about the basics of electronics. Who am I?
I am Elucidated Voyyd, a self-taught electronics person with a HS diploma.

One quick thing.

Electronics are all around you, so learning about them is like learning how to read, drive a car, do basic math, and all kinds of other things we learn about to navigate life! In the early days of computers and electronics, governments recognized that having an educated population was beneficial to everyone, so people were encouraged to learn about electronics and computers, programming and so on, even if they didn't plan on being engineers or having a career in the feild.

Unfortunately, over the past half a century electronics and programming have become highly "technical" feilds and interests. Like with all "skilled trades", there isn't really anything inherent to them that makes them hard for the average person to learn, but market incentives require ever-increasing specialization as well as artificial scarcity of labor, knowledge and resources.

Despite what some very well-paid people will have you believe - there's nothing about electronics, programming or any of these "technical" feilds that takes being some kind of super-genius or innate talent to figure out.

All it takes is an interest and a drive to learn.

With that said, pick any of the topics you want to learn about and I will do my best to keep these pages useful and up to date with my own knowledge.
